SRF08 Ultrasonic Rangefinder
|
|

|
A high performance ultrasonic rangefinder for accurately measuring
distances between 3cm and 6m.
Communication with the SRF08 module is via the I2C bus. To the
programmer the SRF08 behaves in the same way as a 24xx series EEPROM,
except that the I2C address is different. The address of the SRF08
can be changed by the user to any of 16 addresses allowing up to
16 rangefinders to be used simultaneously on the same I2C bus.
An I2C interface is available on many popular microcontrollers
such as the
BASIC Stamp BS2P and may be easily implemented on most PIC microcontrollers
using either the PicBasic
or PicBasic Pro compiler.
Examples of using the SRF08 module with a wide range of popular
controllers may be found
here.
