The CMPS03 from Devantech is an accurate magnetic compass, specifically designed for use in robots as an aid to navigation. The bearing may be retrieved from the module in one of two ways; either using its PWM signal or its I2C interface.

The CMPS09 from Devantech is a tilt compensated magnetic compass. Employing a 3-axis magnetometer, a 3-axis accelerometer and a powerful 16-bit processor, the CMPS09 has been designed to remove the errors caused by tilting of the PCB. The CMPS09 produces a result of 0-3599 representing 0-359.9 or 0 to 255.

The TPA81 from Devantech is a thermopile array sensor which detects infrared in the 2um-22um range. The TPA81 can measure the temperature of 8 adjacent points simultaneously. The module can also control a servo to pan itself around and build up a thermal image. Communication with the TPA81 module is via the I2C bus.

The uCAM (microCAM) is a highly integrated serial camera module which can be attached to any host system that requires a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera for embedded imaging applications. The module has an on-board serial interface (RS232 levels) that is suitable for a direct connection to any host controller or a PC system with a COM port.
