The Pocket Watch B allows designs to meet timing critical specifications,
with the aid of a precision real-time-clock, Y2K compliant calendar,
and advanced alarm features.
The clock module keeps track of seconds, minutes, hours, days,
months, and years. Adjustments for leap year are automatically performed.
It is year 2000 compatible.
This device communicates via an easy-to-use, asynchronous, 1
or 2 wire, serial communications interface. Baud rates of 2.4K,
4.8K, and 9.6K are supported with a user-friendly automatic baud
detect system.
It also contains four advanced alarm types. There is a standard
level alarm, a single shot alarm, and two alarms with variable output
pulse duration and repetition rates. The Pocket Watch B comes in
a 1"x1" SIP module.
