PIC16F628 microcontroller has 2K of code space, 16 I/O pins, 128
bytes of EEPROM, internal clock oscillator, hardware USART, and
many other features in an 18-pin DIP package. Pin-compatible with
the PIC16F84A.Our range of BASIC and C compilers make it easy to write programs for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. Compilers include PicBasic which has a Parallax BASIC Stamp 1 compatible instruction set, PicBasic Pro which features an enhanced instruction set compatible with the BASIC Stamp 2 and the CCS C Compiler which gives developers the capability to quickly produce very efficient code from an easily maintainable high level language.
