| The Motor Mind B Enhanced provides serial control of small
brushed DC motors. Motor speed and direction can be controlled with 255
discrete step in both directions. Motors up to 2.0A continuous current (6A
peak) and from 6-36VDC can be controlled. This module is ideal for use with
small robotic systems. Over current and over temperature protection are
built into the Motor Mind B Enhanced. This part is backwards compatible
with earlier Motor Mind B parts, with minor
changes in functionality. The 21 serial commands include set duty cycle,
stop, reverse, read tachometer, set-point or proportional-integral speed
control, write EEPROM, read EEPROM, change baud rate, change PWM frequency,
count, set duty cycle and direction (single command).
Hardware testing of the Motor Mind B Enhanced may be streamlined with
the Motor Mind B Serial Test
Board.

Motor Mind B Serial
Test Board
The Motor Mind B Serial Test Board was designed to simplify connectivity
to, and control of, the Motor Mind B with a personal computer. Free
software is available that can be used to exercise many of the functions
available in the Motor Mind B through your PC serial port. Connectors
and an on board power supply make interface to the Motor Mind B
a breeze.
