LCD03 20x4 LCD Module
|
|
|

|
The LCD03 20x4 LCD Module makes it easy to add an alphanumeric
display module to your design. The module includes an integrated
display driver which can operate in either I2C or Serial
mode. It requires only a 5V power supply and two data connections
for either mode, freeing up pins on your processor. Many
useful text formatting functions are provided, including
the ability to create custom characters. There is a 64 byte
FIFO buffer to ensure a minimum of delay in writing to the
display.
A backlight is also included, which may be switched on
and off under software control.
An I2C interface is available on many popular microcontrollers
such as the
BASIC
Stamp BS2P and may be easily implemented on most PIC
microcontrollers using either the
PicBasic or
PicBasic Pro
compiler.
Examples of using the LCD03 module with a wide range
of popular controllers may be found
here.
